Emulator Shalaev 3.00 and ZxTools 1.2
ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Evgeny Vorobjev → To All 27 September 1997
Hello, All!
They work and very well. Together we made a good set. SyncMaster
3Ne monitor, S3 Trio 64V2 card. I can’t check the sound, because... there is nothing for
this yet... Thanks to the authors.
All the best, Evgeny. Sat Sep 27 1997 23:28.

I don’t understand something: judging by this letter, ZX_Tools (any) works??!!
It works somehow strange for me. I couldn't convert more than half of what was in the echo into TRD files. As a rule, non-distilled programs are
Basik's monolith files, only the Basik is distilled, and the codes are cut off.
What kind of insanity?
--------------
I would also like to ask: has anyone connected a Spectrum floppack to
5.25 to a PC. It is marked either 1153 or 1053. And it is (infectiously) 800 kilo, hence all the difficulties with connection. If anyone knows how, then describe the
process in full detail.
Sincerely yours,
Eugene

All versions work, but _correctly_ it was the executable that went through the echo in "Yuki" (it went alone without a package)... :))

Exactly, but the author has already fixed this, “WHY DOES HIM HAVE MORE MERCY” ;))
ES> What kind of insanity?

The insanity began in version 1.* and ended with version 1.2..... :))
(Before that I had 3.2, but it outperformed well)

I haven’t tried, but in theory there’s no way... I once had an antediluvian, and by the way, DOS
computer “Search”, which raised me greatly from the level of a teapot, and took the disk drive 5313 (by acquaintance) to the PC workshop.
So! They couldn't even connect it.... Something is wrong with the polarity of the synchronization pulses or something. This is the first.
And the second. There is no such thing in the BIOS, so you will have to load the resident
driver...... :)
P.S. The public will object, maybe it’s true that it was invented, because they connect
1.2 drives to "Speccy".......:)))

5311 or 5313
Register it in the BIOS as 3'5 at 720 Kilo.
It worked for me on 286, 486 and on a new stump it works with such settings.
Yours sincerely, Alexey Ivanov

No, _CORRECTLY_ only 3.x works and the last one that was echoed
ZXTools.exe version 1.2, the rest contained errors that were caught with
the help of readers of this echo. For which _BIG_ thanks to everyone who responded.

Hmm... What kind of BIOS do you have? Usually he strictly monitors 3'5 and 5'25.
It's much easier to put "5'25 1.2MB". Yes, and we must not forget about the 2nd
leg...
2IG: It’s time to include this in the FAQ. Don't you think so?
Good luck! Evgeny.

Yeah, but they told me that 5313 does not have one signal. Control of open/close
drive key. Although at my old job I saw at one time 100/486 with a normal Avard bios with 5313 working. It means we can somehow attach it. Otherwise, buying a 5-inch just for the sake of connecting with Spectrum is not a thing.

Eugene

_BIG_ thanks for the good program, even under the PC simulator it works
perfectly, and was very useful, otherwise I’m tired of translating the hobeta manually.
ALL<= The new version of SW COMANDER will support the hobeta format for converting
the program into a normal view of the speckie. The demo is being prepared and will be uploaded soon.

I find it. But I can’t find (pun intended!) the only correct answer. (I don’t have such
problems)
With all sorts of regards and wishes.

Exactly, I've seen a lot of TEACs - everyone has different boards and a different number of
jumpers. And the fact needs to be like: flop model, what bios (manufacturer and version),
and what was done there.
