Greetings to you, All!
Is there really no good subject on the pussy? I went through about 10 Spectrum emulators -
there is no _GOOD_ anywhere Damn, I love the Spectrum muse... But I can’t listen to that
suck emulator. If there is, then I won’t refuse the soap.
With respect, Dragon/Atlantic

Take Yudinovsky (Lion-17) imho the coolest sound, almost 100% similar!

I recommend ZX Emul 0.31 - the _coolest_ AY, but for weak machines - the player
AYPLAY... (worse) Although it has its own charms in sound.

I guess I wrote one extra zero, or I have an ancient one. Is there anyone who is not almost?

Well, how can I tell you, there are many similarities, but real sound can be achieved
only on a real AY, by the way, Yamah’s YM sounds completely different...
2HARDWAR_s: The DAC in YM is not 4-bit like in AY, but 5... maybe who
knows how this can be used? I mean, throw in a PDF for YM 2149F!!!
IMHO if it is properly supported at the level of software and hard, then it should sound
cooler than AY!?

IMHO YM is much more, or am I mistaken?

We mostly have YM. AY is a rarity.
All the best.

Specifics of the 46th region ;) At one time, Kyiv showered us with them enough...

Forgive me for my blasphemy, but IMHO the X128 emulator plays AY _better_ than
the original (AY emulation goes through samples, 44 kHz!). ZX32 (under MD-95) also plays very badly.
That's it, bye! Write, call, come in! ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄

And they will cure you... So, if you digitize from a woman's mafon to wav
44 kHz stereo 16bit, will it be better than the original? This will already be a recording
from a CD, so to speak? It's not for you to play notes on a balalaika.

Only the original itself can play better than the original. Moreover, the original
has no such limitation as the sampling frequency at all ;)

It just seems to you, or you haven’t heard the most important thing yet (although of course
you can already listen).

The only one worthwhile in this regard ZXEMU0.3X, but even it suffers
a little (almost not noticeably, but...).

What version of X128 do you have? Otherwise it looks like it’s with Ad Lib 0.8:((

However, there is. :) Equal to the clock divided by 16 (about 110KHz).
This is a digital sound _frequency_ generator, especially since the
output is a rectangle.
PS: But it is true that the original in this case is better than the emulator.
Sincerely

Really? What are you doing? The emulator cannot be compared with the original AY!
Many effects are missing or play incorrectly - for example, envelope.

By the way, I remembered the words of Vaxon in his demo "Ball Dreams", where he
talked about clocking an AYshka with a frequency of 7 MHz: "Sound much cleaner
and juicier, and white noise really becomes white" :)
