Who's slowing down???? Emul or something? Yes, you're fundamentally wrong, it works fine for me
without brakes, the only thing is that there is a problem with a screen, but that's the beta

It’s also realtime, but there, firstly, the screen is about half
smaller (due to the lack of upper and lower borders), and
secondly, 16 colors (4 bits per dot), when I have 256 (8 bits).
Now let’s switch to text mode, there will be 2 bits per dot, and

Of course there will be comments, as you yourself said, the emulsion requires a stump and because of this it doesn't
work (for you) and you're not happy with it, but then you say that 4s are enough for your ears, it turns out to be a small contradiction, not well, of course you can say like
"...but Shalaev is plowing on 4s...", so in Shalaev you are not multicolor
in life You won’t see curb effects (who doesn’t know that Yudin’s emulsion has excellent curb effects?), not to mention the kind of music that is written on SB.
So how can you be satisfied with your four? No, well, of course you can download and read/write mail, but no more.

Sacrificing multicolor means sacrificing almost the entire makeshift,
namely everything related to video synchronization. And the result will be the same emulsion
Shalaev. I like your emulsion mostly because of its maximum similarity to the real thing. Spec.
IMHO, we need to make it an even more similar emulsion. So that a person has a choice: he needs something fast - Shalaev, he needs something exactly Spec - ZX-Emul.

Tra-la-la-la-la. Alexey, if you want to provoke me, then you succeeded. You don't know anything, but you make your idiotic assumptions. Did you want to flame?
Can you give me the numbers? OK. In the summer-autumn of 1997, C-DOS cost in the region
80-90 thousand (the figures are reliable, since we even sent a “messenger” to Moscow;
moreover, we were told that prices would rise, since these modems had already
practically stopped being produced), LongShine 2400, which works sometimes
much, much more stable than Shprot, and allow you to develop the speed of the
_LOGICAL_ channel to ~ 9600 baud or more - costs ~ 10 dollars.
So, let's first compare which sucks more:
1) Hayes on 2400 or C-DOS
2) Samara in which you can for an acceptable price, it is almost impossible to get almost ANY_
hayes modem or Moscow, where, according to you, it is almost impossible to get a normal and cheap
hayes.

If you don’t pretend anymore mmmm... (well, you understand who), then I'll tell you a secret that a modem for 14400 in the store costs ~ 300 rubles, and you can buy it for ~ 200.
Spectrum will allowreach a speed of at least 33600 baud. Just yesterday
we connected. In the absence of a faster modem, we have not yet tested speeds greater than
33600, but IMHO, they are achievable...
More questions?
Good luck! Evgeny.

In his case, this will not help. This feature disables the speed limiter.
And when the emulator works several times slower than the original, then
this can only slightly increase the speed.
PS: By the way, in F8 mode, all border and multicolor effects remain.

IG> And in melon? /this is a mailer/.
Melon may see it, or maybe not. The test for the presence of a modem is not done there. Therefore, if you configure it (Melon) correctly, it will see it, if not, it will not.
(By the way, according to the latest data, the new Melon 1.80s will require 512Kb.)

2ALL: Since we are talking about this, can someone answer me: (a) is there a
reworking of this scheme for Scorpio; (b) who has a similar scheme, but
not with b/w graphics, but in color 32*24 color symbols? Necessary for the next
versions of our programs.

Who pretends - so it’s you: we’re talking about a different price category,
and even 5 rubles can sometimes play a role. If a person cannot
afford to buy for 200! Don't compare others to yourself. They don't buy Spectrum modems because they have a good life. And to blame people for not having the means to purchase the same sprat at 14400 is simply dishonest.

I can install the firmware for Courier at 56 ;)

existence?) - I can do it for them too throw.

I don’t have melon. Send me a look and test the emulsion.

Well... At least because the standard of IBM's BBSes (all sorts of BlueWaves, etc.) is not a standard at all for us, but only the first step in the ladder.
Personally, we plan to make Hayes software for the “pure Spectrum”, where the selection
of files and menu items will be made not by “hot keys”, but by a cursor in the menu itself, etc. etc. Conclusion - IBM's terminal/bibbies software
will be indispensable here.

Eeeeeee... (this is not a new emoticon) how can I tell you this... I
gave you _store_ prices (and branded stores selling VT), and
told you that you can buy it cheaper from _hand_ (or on the market). This is (1). (2) Just
this week in one of our Samara echoes an advertisement appeared about “I am selling
Sprats at the _Moscow_ price”... Do you think a person would advertise
at the “Moscow price” if it were higher than the “Samara” price? (3) If a person
_wants_, then in a few months he will find 200 rubles.

But to say that “they can’t” means to deliberately brainwash people
and drum into them that hayes will not give them anything. Moreover, I didn’t reproach anyone for this, I said that “they don’t want to buy hayes,” and this is not a reproach at all, it is, IMHO, a statement of fact. Moreover, if he gets readyseveral
people, then it is much easier for them to buy a batch of Hayes.
