128 is cool - pythons spit like cobras... 48 is no better - the first ship I met was the Thargoid... 8% And they differ, IMHO, in that in the 48th version

Let me, an old elitist, insert a word. This is my favorite game to this day. IMHO it is best to play in the so-called. Novosibirsk version (ELITE-3). The difference
between other elites is enormous. Everything is close to reality. 7 special missions against
three. New ships (mamba, gecko, tharhoid-6). Alien ships fight with each other, go into hyperspace, malicious fugitives are attacked by flocks of police ships (it's fun to get away from them :) You can buy a Cobra-Mk4, an explosive super laser, get exciting tasks.

Python when hit into it, releases ships. If the python is pirated, then usually - 2-3 kraits, adders, sidewinders, or mambas. And if it’s peaceful, then up to 4 police Vipers fly out of it. In special places in the galaxy
there are constant battles between many ships - mainly the most
powerful warships - ASP MK2 and Gecko. It's not easy to even fight there even
with a lot of experience and Cobra MK4.

At some time after the destruction of the Thargoid, a container will remain. Taking it, the pilot gains the ability to carry small ships on himself (in himself) (like the Targons). A very cool thing. The last mission is a full-scale
war with the Targons.
