I drain the Spectrum when it’s small. Not more than 100 seconds.
And even then it’s disgusting to read:
"Throw me my favorite RENAGAD"!
"And on the Shalaev emulator... "
"Fuck you..!"
That's what your ZH.SPECTRUM is like

Hello, All!
This is in relation to the attitude of the St. Petersburg zx-nets to what is happening here. :)))))
Well said. :~))))
With all sorts of regards and wishes.
Igor.
... And what, Romans, isn’t a loaf of bread a sight for you yet?

So there is no topic for conversation. There is nothing to write about. So the flamers let loose :)
PS: For me, there’s not much more interesting in RU.ZXNET.GENERAL. =(

In SPBZXNET.GENERAL it’s the same.

I'm sorry... Is there somewhere else where virtuals can discuss Spectrum emulators
and those who are nostalgic can look for old games? Let your namesake say - we all go there and
break right away... And there is enough swearing everywhere.
IG> Well said. :~))))
Looks like “to a foreign monastery with its own charter”...

Uh-huh. And who are the calls for poundtop intended for? For virtuals? Will you be playing demos under an emulator?
IG>> Well said. :~))))
DG> It looks like “to a foreign monastery with its own rules”...
Ugh, you... Well, Dima... I didn’t expect such a reaction from you... To an innocent joke with
a small hint... Then one more specific question - do you learn a lot
for yourself from your correspondence with Milun? And from the markets of legality/illegality
copying/making changes/creating new programs for sx? I - no, I already just skip 80% of the letters here. And this is unlikely to be due to the fact that my
tastes/interests have changed so radically.

IG> Ugh, you... Well, Dima... I didn’t expect such a reaction from you...
So, to each his own. IMHO, there is an order of magnitude more useful information in ZX.SPECTRUM than in RU.ZXNET.GENERAL. I have nothing to read there at all... Pointless conversations.
IG> An innocent joke with a small hint... Then one more specific
IG> question - do you learn a lot for yourself from your correspondence with Milun? And from

I agree, it’s rubbish. Letters about Sprinter are the same for me. What can you write so much about? It seems clear: here’s a computer, here’s a list of features. If you want -
buy. There's no arguing whether it's needed or not...
IG> I'm not, I'm already just wasting 80% of the letters here.
And I'm at RU.ZXNET.GENERAL - all 100%. So what? You can start an interesting
conversation here - everything is in your hands. Or do you think others should come up with interesting topics for discussion, and you should just watch? ;))

From Dmitry Grigoryev → To All 12 January 1998
IG> Ugh, you... Well, Dima... I didn’t expect such a reaction from you... To an innocent
IG> joke with a little hint...
Why am I swearing? I am simply expressing my opinion about this widespread phenomenon
- the lack of understanding by “natural” spektrumists of many of the topics discussed here.
It’s just that now I have the opportunity to read St. Petersburg’s echoes, and therefore
the opportunity to compare. I completely disagree with such one-sided, ill-considered judgments. And I would not allow myself to express myself in such a tone about the echoes I mentioned.
IG> Then one more specific question - do you draw a lot for yourself
IG> from the correspondence with Milun?
What do you call correspondence? I haven’t kept the database for a long time, but over the last month I wrote only 3 letters to his address... Two of them were in the heat of the moment, I couldn’t stand the abuse in my direction, I repent :( Now count how many he wrote to me and in what tone. And this is after repeated requests not to pester me... If you undertake to correct Milun when he slanderes me, and shut up his mouth
when he just throws dirt at me, I won’t object. If the (co)moderators are too... No, it’s strange... Milun reacts to every message of mine addressed to completely different people, thereby provoking a flame, and it’s my fault?
IG> And from the bazaars of legality/illegality. copying/entering
IG>changes/creation of new programs for zx? I - no,
You are not an author, not a hacker, I didn’t notice your habit of downloading rights that do not belong to you either - you may not be interested in issues of copyright and the right to
adaptation. Some people simply don’t like to read something that makes them rack their brains and
change principles - they don’t need it either, and in general they read little and with difficulty.
But the conversation was supported by quite a large number of subscribers, more than
many other topics are supported here, supported by those who use or violate these very rights, nothing surprising. Moreover, I consider this topic
one of the most interesting and educational among those that have ever been discussed here. Unfortunately, this discussion has practically stopped, probably still
because of its “heaviness for the mind”...
IG> I’m already just skipping 80% of the letters here.
I’m no less. So what? This is fine. Well, I’m not interested in conversations that don’t carry
semantic load, the necessary information, that don’t make you think, topics
some of which are not interesting or I don’t understand anything about them... But if they are being conducted,
that means someone needs them, at least their participants? So why should I protest
against them, call them flames? Not to mention the fact that, being an ordinary
subscriber of this conference, I do not consider myself to have the right to prohibit anything from the same
subscribers because IThis is something that doesn't interest me. In my opinion,
the only right of the subscriber in this case is to silently unsubscribe or
optimize the viewing of messages.

Note that I did not compare this echo with anything similar. I just cited the opinion of the spectroman.
IG>> I’m not, I’m already just skipping 80% of the letters here.

Yes, so... I’m generally silent, because the echo of St. Petersburg Specki is not available to me. F-(

Nah, I’d better say it this way - we need to end uninteresting topics, and not create
new ones.

By the way, you will laugh, but I do almost the same. (Well, I’m not interested
in the problems of “Sprinter - suxx or rulez”, “the better way to convert something”,
“I can release such and such games, does anyone need it?”, etc.).
Good luck! Evgeny.

Nuka-nuka. Please read your database again. I am addressed to you _never_ said a single swear word (Unlike you). Or give
examples, or...
DG> And this is after repeated requests not to pester me...
I already told you ~ a year ago - publicly apologize for your slander in
On-Line and I will leave you alone. Or have you already forgotten that I too. "repeatedly
asked" to stop pushing and talk "like a human being"?
DG> If you undertake to correct Milun when he slanderes me

Examples of slander, please. Or - “silence is golden.” (And after such phrases,
you want me to “get behind you”?)
DG> If the (co)moderators are also... No, it’s strange... Milun
DG> reacts to my every message addressed to completely different people,
DG> thereby provoking a flame, and it’s my fault?
:))))))) That I I react to every message...", there is nothing
strange because:
1) This is an echo, i.e. an echo conference, and anyone can speak here.
2) In these very “messages” you, for some reason, mention me quite often...
Well, who actually provokes the flame (or rather, flames), we better
keep silent... Otherwise we’ll have to remember all the insults that you said to me here...
(By the way, maybe then the moderator will “correct” you too? When you break the rules here - “expressions that can be interpreted as
personal insults are prohibited” (the same, by the way, applies to Novikov and Matveev))
