Throw out “to hell” ( ;)) ) your disk drive. Either you're buggy or
he is. I've been reading/writing/formatting on IBM and Spectrum for six months now - I haven't had a single problem yet.
RK> I did this, I was not too lazy to connect a 3.5" disk drive to the Sinclair.
RK> I took it out of the PC and for some reason it is visible in TR-DOS as DISK C:, well, yes okay.
Yeah. Quite okay... :))) "For some reason." to the ZX, I didn’t ground the 2nd pin.
Why ground it? It’s still hanging in the air.
RK> I couldn’t read the disc with it grounded (for some reason?)
Yeah... Definitely for me.I like your “for some reason”.

Good luck ! Evgeny.

Yes? I seriously didn’t know... It seemed to me that this was invented when I was still on the Spectrum and hanging around on Vicom. It seems that Sergej Sewostjanov (or so) came up with these features. Although I may have forgotten over the years. :)
With all kinds of regards and wishes.
Igor.
