DMA Sound Card
ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Konstantin Afendikov → To All 16 May 1997
Hello, All!
A sound card for the ZX-SPECTRUM with direct memory access
(DMA) is offered. It is based on LSI K1810VT37 (8237). The card has 4 eight-bit channels, 6 bits of volume control. A 4-channel MOD player has been written, the Digital Studio editor has been adapted, and several games have been developed. An editor for MODs is being written. The diagram and
description follow. Take it and do it whoever you want. Card price ~15$. The sound
is really cool. With all questions and suggestions, please contact us either by email at 2:465/69.39 or by phone (06257)4-31-88 from 9.30 to 17.00 (call
Alexey).
Best wishes, Konstantin.

If you had carefully read the description for subj, you would have realized that it was developed
before GS, and at the other end is exUSSR :) The principles of operation are also somewhat different :)
FP> so far, with all sorts of Wishes, Fedin Pavel!
PS I'm not a moderator, but stop so shamelessly overquoting, this is a request...

Hello! Of course not. In St. Petersburg they suffer in their own way, in Donetsk - in their own way.
Soon, probably, there will be a couple of dozen sound cards with their own standards...
