"Is the bourgeois software over?"
ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»

Hi, All!
Hello, Sergey!
>
>At midnight you decided to deal with piracy? ;}
For me, midnight is somewhere around 5 in the morning, when the rooster crows ;)
> AS> To be happy about this and find out who exists for whom,
> AS> a pirate for a hacker, or a hacker for a pirate, or both for our
> AS> “Spectrum freebies”, of which we have 80% :(, time has passed!
> AS> Bourgeois software it’s over!
>
>It’s not over.
But these are your words! I remember you started with the SOS.
Of course, you know better. Then be kind, explain what the ACTUAL situation
is with this. Are they writing something in the West now, how many software are left that deserve
attention (about .... 10, 100, 1000). You guys have a sense of humor...
Although the reason was very serious! (CrDr)
Only IMHO people need to be convinced, and the main thing is to offer something that
would make life easier for many.
>
> AS> that is, simply “code them”!
>No problem: influencing the masses with the help of NLP;)
That’s it, who is our doctor in our department... oh*-)
>
> AS> In the most interesting place of any game, the inscription “You bought stolen software” lights up for a while
> AS> The inscription “You bought stolen software!
>It was in ZH-1 (1995).
:)... the truth about the most interesting
place of course the question is how to determine it then... you have to be a psychologist here.
>
> AS> Tomorrow you will not have new games and Spectrum will die"
>=Х8[ ] Very scary... :)
Well, here, Sergey, it’s not funny anymore! Which of the Spectrumists wants THIS
Spectrum?
>
> AS> But then it will affect the psyche of honest people too. Although if
> AS> is an honest person, then this shouldn’t hurt him.
>Honest people don’t buy from pirates ;)
So you don’t understand... in legal versions this also lights up... you see
you see, a pirate will most likely scrape out this inscription... so the illegal copy will be immediately
visible, and if you “make a dirty trick”, catching on every bit
of this inscription sophisticated protection, then people will simply be wary of buying
versions without it!!!
> AS> Try to find another way out of this situation.
>
>That’s what I’m saying, everything is useless. Those who could were convinced. All that remains are sanctions, and this is the SOS project, and this is undemocratic, and this is an infringement of human rights, and this is what you are against. And %\7un. ;)
Why did you close the SOS topic?
Join SNS now, betweenthey have a lot in common!
SNS is more democratic and market-oriented, although not as global of course.
But Moscow was not built right away, if we get back on our feet, then with 1000 N-users
we will save both the “scene” and the Spectrum!
>
>PS: According to the existing stereotype, all the troubles
>are from pirates. Not all of them. So they did everything they could with the pirates. It's time to look into other "holes" in the Spectrum banner.
All the troubles come from freebies, from the "scoop" that still sits deep in each of us!
The rest is offtopic, and I don't want to turn it into ru.politics
Okay, I don't care about global problems, we should at least solve ours!
With respect, Andrey Savichev/CGS, coordinator of SpectrumNetSoft (SNS)

AS> But these are your words!
“Almost” is over ;) Compared to 94, for example, now it’s zero. And for 98
it takes a long time to release.
AS> I remember this is where you started with SOS. Of course you know better. Then be
AS> kind, explain what the ACTUAL situation with this is. Are
AS> writing anything in the West now, how many noteworthy and not
AS> released software are left (about ....10, 100, 1000)?
At the current rate of release - a year and a half of work. And in “pieces” - games
100 max., which did not exist yet or were in incomplete form.

Yes, but such a book (with a circulation of <100 copies) will cost 25-30 rubles?
Then after all, the compact is $2+2 entry = 24 rubles. and a couple of toys and
descriptions for it. Even if he wanted to, it would cost the same $4 for the pirate.
Well, $3 in the worst case scenario and a VALLEY! only VALLEY! You write 200 compacts
and send them out by mail at the same time. And there you'll end up with so many things that they'll be tortured to rewrite the flops! Just imagine WHAT can be done
with information if there are only 3-5 meg on 640 meg?
As Ivan said, the hacking will be brilliant and the hacker will go crazy. 8-)
^^^^^^this is not my copyright, but
I laughed for a long time and remembered it :)
By the way, that’s a good punishment! Like Cherry about catching a mathematician bear
by placing a board in the forest with the example 2x2=5
And even an emulsion, what a tricky thread to roll up there, so that only the loader and “mustache boss” are read
in the directory!

Nothing like that. Just then you will get the opposite:
1) Hackers (and even more so pirates) will have much more “incentive” to rip it all out.
2) Users will receive a “negative charge” due to constantly appearing
and annoying inscriptions. Read - there will be an incentive to purchase a pirated copy. (For example, take IBM's "Dos Navigator": the shareable version, screaming "register" all the time, and the pirated version.)
3) The hacker groups that have made the most successful hack will gain considerable
popularity.
Well, a few words from myself - ZH's experience has shown that such inscriptions are quite
easily avoided. It’s “getting by”, not “cleaning up”... Simple, terribly
elementary...
Good luck! Evgeny.

AS> Well, I’m the coordinator :) join...and then the Chairman will be chosen by the one
AS> whom they deem necessary. I've already found seven :) out of 240, you'll be ninth!
Well, what will you do? You need the support of the media so that your idea is known.
Suppose your article is published wherever you want. But in order for people to read it, it must be short and as simple as possible, easy to understand. All ideas
must be expressed in a couple of sentences. Is this possible?
From Andrew Savichev → To All 13 March 1998
What can I say, people don’t watch TV and video. There are so many
films about how swindlers cleaned up a network of virtual markets or
virtual banks.
Here we need to decide something else. So that, as Alex Letaev wrote, the two markets,
"small" and "big" "do not intersect", he of course wanted to say
"do not collide".
And so, many, for example, still do not understand that we are talking not only
about virtual spektrumists, but also about real ones,
not only about networked ones, but also about non-networked ones,
not only about civilized ones, but also about wild ones.
They wrote to me in letters, that many people cannot afford a modem.
Since 14400 haes are beyond their means, and Spectrum ones are not sold in their region
are not sold, there are no schematics, no boards, no assembly instructions, etc.
Look, they are creating clubs instead of making ZXNET for themselves.
And the person here in the echo asked for how much help, did they help him?
It seems that everyone is interested in the growth of networks don’t give a damn!
And the capitals don’t give a damn about the regions either! :(
And that’s why it’s a capital, to connect all the regions together and
to help in any way possible! You need to cultivate the field before cutting the cabbage
from it ;)
Where does this wariness come from? And from there, everyone no longer expects any improvements, but is only afraid that some new dirty trick will happen.
They think the same about SOS and SNS,that it’s some kind of another scam.
The Spectrum brothers are sick :( we need to get treatment so that the atmosphere somehow improves.
I’m tired of telling everyone that it’s easier for honest, good people to live with each other. And then you won’t have to attack anyone if everyone adheres
to the rules and respects each other without “ranks and ranks”, but as equals.
And here we don’t like dummies :( and that’s very bad!
After all, the teapot doesn’t get anywhere, it asks for help not from stupidity, but from lack
of experience, and it immediately hits him in the face :(
Oh, I’ve blabbed again.
And if you need it, please, I’ll do it.
Only in two sentences, you understand - it’s unrealistic.
All the best!
Andrey Savichev
