Boot in tr-dos ROM and toy

ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»

From Roland Chanishvily To All 7 April 1997

Hello All!

Somehow I found out that there is a boutique in some tr-dos ROM.
Tell me how to launch it! There are a lot of bugs and more, but I don’t
remember how to start a boutique ;(

And I also want a toy where a gnome runs around and collects all sorts of insects, and
then cooks all sorts of stuff in colored cauldrons (weapons, etc).

Hello, Roland!

If you mean the firmware calling itself TR-DOS 5.05, inside of which there is
text: “Base version 5.04 TURBO, new system calls: #0D-OUT (B),A;
#0F-IN A,(B); #10-OUTI(#7F),(HL); #11-INI (HL),(#7F). CALL #3D2D runs CONVER
comander for 48/128K. M.Markowsky 1993", then the firmware Conver commander is called
from TR-DOS by command '8'.

Only when you use it, remember that it is hardwired into this firmware Conver version 2.06, which does not work correctly with files of 255 sectors in size.
If there is such a file on the disk, then I do not recommend doing copy and move from the command (It works without problems with files of shorter length).

In Conver Comander version 3.xx this error occurs. has been fixed, but its size has become larger and without packaging it no longer fits into the empty spaces of TR-DOS. And again I don’t want to have to deal with pushing the commander into TR-DOS :)

Best wishes! Michael KLUG

From Sergei Novikov To All 10 April 1997

Howdy, Roland!!!

It happened on a gloomy Monday, the 07 of April 1997. A minute to midnight
Roland Chanishvily wrote to All such a delightful letter that I consider it to
be my duty to comment it:

RC> And I also want a toy where a gnome runs around and collects all sorts of insects, and
RC> then cooks a different kind of soup in colored cauldrons (weapons, ets).

Oh! Directly to order. Mini-description of Spooked for half a kilo + the normal version you
can find in Spectrophone #22!

Hasta la vista, Roland.
With God's blessing, Novikov Sergei
