I won’t give you any advice about BASIC, but you can run the texts through iS-DOS.
I have a worse problem: I need to extract texts from TLW2-something-and-so, convert them to
pisyuk, I’ve already solved the problem by half - I wrote a program in Pascal, but Here's the problem: I don't know the TLW encoding. I tried to do this via iS-DOS, but for some reason nothing worked (I used version 2.00)
Does anyone have information on this problem?

Bye.

Quite by chance, I have such a converter that works with .TRD files.
Catch BGCONV.ARJ.

P.S. I'm throwing it in the echo, in case anyone else needs the thread?
P.P.S. No one is immune from glitches... please don't kick.

With respect to you, Alexandr,

Here - most likely there is a problem in this!
Maybe someone knows what is hidden in this encoding?

For TLW2m there is a tlw_conv converter, author MOA. And at one time I wrote
a program that runs from TLW2m and removes all control
codes from the text (for me they sometimes took up to 30% of the volume of the TLW file, since I
managed to print multi-story formulas from TLW).

Which I have the honor to report.
