ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Eugene Safronov → To All 9 March 1998
I hit you with my forehead, Tyukaev!
I saw that Thu Mar 05 1998 Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich wrote to All this
that:
TV> I’m not against the network market, I meant quitting working on
TV> emulators, this is some kind of nonsense :-\
And what prevents you from releasing versions for both the emulsion and the real one Speck?
at the package, Tyukaev, package!

Separately for the emulsion and separately for the Spec? You can't do that! Then the emulsion is no longer
Spek! It needs to work both here and there. And programs should try to do this and emuls
improve.
All the best.
With respect, Roman Milukov.

And how is this actually?
RM> Separately for the emulsion and separately for the Spec? That’s not possible!
Uh-huh, that’s not possible.
RM> Then the emulsion is no longer
RM> Speck!
And the emulsion, it’s not baked anyway, it’s a program that emulates the capabilities of the Spectrum,
though not always correctly ;)
RM> It needs to work both here and there. And we should try to do programs like this
RM> and improve emuls.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is more likely the case, because The realist author is first of all interested in how his program will work on a real spec and lastly (purely out of curiosity) how it will work on an emulator. And imho Spectrum is not an emulator, if everyone switches to emuls, the spec will die!
RM> All the best.
RM> Sincerely, Roman Milukov.
