ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Evgeny Onishko → To All 20 November 1997
Hello All.
I, Onishko Evgeniy Gennadievich, am proud to announce that I and the Representatives of the Company
"Welcome" are going to publish a LASER DISC WITH A COLLECTION OF PROGRAMS FOR PERSONAL
COMPUTERS ZX-Spectrum AND COMPATIBLE WITH IT!!!!!
For this reason, I, with permission I invite representatives of the "Welcome" Company to ALL
wishers to exchange COLLECTIONS of programs for the ZX-Spectrum!!!!!
Contact address:
Onishko Evgeniy 2:5030/429.25 or by phone 230-7409
Also, but on my own behalf, I suggest electronic engineers develop UNIFIED
interface ZX-Spectrum <-> IBM PC with the appropriate software for both platforms.
In about 4-5 days I will present to the readers my scheme for this interface, which unfortunately requires ONLY bidirectional LPT. The scheme itself
will be supported by software, which is, in fact, its only and main value.
The problem is that programs for both platforms are being written now...
Evgeny

So what, bidirectional LPT. Otherwise, give them one-directional! And
so that everything would work! IMHO you need to look up to modern PC hardware, which in the absolute majority has bi-direct, and not remember the old three rubles.
This is not your problem, but the one who has these three rubles. IMHO.

Well damn! Damn! well....ugh!
well, I have a three-ruble card, well, I have a bidirectional LPT, that’s why I made the device!
why bother driving a blizzard?
But I haven’t written the software yet! (the spektrumist is lazy, and I don’t know how to communicate with scorpion ports!)
