I’m puzzled... in general, for the “presence effect” you need two LCDs, if
to your left eye you feed the same picture as to your right, you’ll get “the effect of having too much strong drinks”, if to the left - the left part of the picture, to the right - the right - “wide-format film”, if specially processed pictures
“spatial presence” - “virtual reality”, but in one
eye? ... well, what the heck - two eyes are better than one ;)

Take a ready-made helmet and turn off one screen.

It won’t work! At least for now.
We were talking about the near future and promising video systems for the Spectrum
in general, i.e. about 2001.
