Good morning, day, evening, night, dear Andy!
It was March 24, 98. Then Andy didn’t DOOM write to Sergey. But time passed, Andy couldn’t stand it and wrote with fingers tired from idleness... AH> Sitting down at the keyboard, I decided to draw a letter for you Sergey.
AH> Hurray, hurray, finally found a kindred spirit! :) I have everything
AH> too, I connected the current
AH> in 40 minutes - I attached a switch A<>B.
I also installed such a toggle switch (by the way! extremely convenient!),
as well as such a cunning gadget _record protection_! So it works like this - you click the toggle switch (for me the red light comes on) - the drive
writes without giving a write error, but without writing anything either. And when the green
light is on, everything is written!
SL> That's it for now!
SL> See you!
SL> Let's study!
AH> :)
Bye Andy.

And almost everyone has already switched to 465! It’s just that the lack of magnetic media
affected the convenience of power supply/drive size.
Hasta la vista.

What does speed have to do with it? I say that with 5.25 disks it’s strained in many places and
that it’s time to switch to 3.5, but you’re talking about speed, what’s the point? When you installed 5.25
you didn’t think that it works slower than SCSI 2. ;)
P.S.: Guys, I have the impression that many who argue with me
about subj are either far from the real spec (in the sense that it sits in the emulator and the
real spec is parallel to it), or he has such reserves of 5.25, which will last him more than
one year. Of course, in St. Petersburg or Motsk there may be no problem with disks, but in many other places the situation is much worse, you even have to buy in another city - insanity. So, a huge request to those who have a Spectrum PC + emulator do not speak out on this matter, since they are already far from real Spekov problems. Moreover,
if you may have noticed, specific people who have a LIVE spec answered me,
who set themselves 3.5 and they are quite happy, and I myself have been using my 3.5 for almost a year and am 100% happy with it.

Elementary. Toggle switch in the cut of the hose to the disk drive, pin 22? (Write Enable).
By the way, it allows you to easily bypass a whole bunch of protections. Especially on the PC.
Yes - most of the freshly-made Speck warezes at first went only on such
flops.

And in 5020 there are still few people with 3.5, but many have more than one 5.25.

AH> In St. Petersburg there is tension (at least 525 is more expensive than 35). Except for used ones,
of course.
Warm greetings, Slava!

And in 465 3.5 + 5.25 is more common.
