Sector to Unbeliever: PROGRESS demo & FunTop'98

From Sector^Serious Speccy Group (Kaliningrad, Russia) To Unbeliever^Speed Co. (Samara, Russia) 24 January 1998

Sector from Serious Speccy Group writes to Maksim (Unbeliever / Speed Co), offering to stay in touch, exchange software, and contribute music tracks for his magazine. He sends promotional materials (REKL.TXT and REKL.GFX) alongside a disk with software, reviews the recipient's demo, and shares updates on Serious Speccy Group's work on PROGRESS megademo, an upcoming magazine, and a FunTop'98 demo. Sector also notes the scarcity of Speccy users in his PC-dominated city and inquires about OBERON v5

Hello, Unbeliever a.k.a. M.M.A. of Speed Co!!! Hi, Maksim! It's still Sector from Serious Speccy Group writing to you! I haven't received any letter from you (the postal service has completely lost its mind :)- Anyway, I'd still like to keep in touch with you and trade software. I can also offer you my music tracks for your magazine (if needed). I'm sending you an ad (for your magazine): REKL.TXT — a regular text file in the format of your ZX-IBM v1.5 editor, and REKL.GFX — an ordinary standard screen. Regarding your demo: it looks pretty good, I liked many of the effects, but that magnifying glass is so annoying that it makes me sick. I'm sending you 1 disk with some software and our programs. I'm not sending my catalog yet because I don't have time to update it, but I'll send it next time. Right now, we are working on the PROGRESS mega-demo (a community project for New Year and Speccy's birthday) and our magazine (we're trying to make it quickly). I'm glad that Samara now has ZX-NET, that's significant. If only someone would set it up here. Our whole city is packed with INTEL INSIDE. As for the Spectrum, there are only about 12-15 users. There are only a few Amigas. So, how are things going with you? How is OBERON v5? By the way, we are planning to attend FunTop'98 and are making a demo. Are you planning to go? Greetings to all your Samara soft makers from ours. Pass greetings to BEERMANS and MEGACODE from me. Well, I think we will become good friends, bye, waiting for a reply. Sector / Serious S.G.
