Introduction and Swap Offer from SLASH (ADG / PRESTIGE)
SLASH (Denis Podolsky) from Ryazan, leader of Atomic Destruction Group and musician for PRESTIGE, writes while serving in the army in Moscow to get acquainted with Yura via an address received from FLASH. He lists ADG and PRESTIGE releases (Lemmings 128, Indy 4), introduces ADG members (Steve, DEKART, DAVE), and describes their hardware (Pentagon, Profi, ATM Turbo 2, Amiga). He inquires about Yura's group, scene connections (KSA, RST#7, ISAEV), and offers to exchange parcels and new software.
Hello Yura!
FLASH gave me your address, but they only provided your address—no group name, no handle, and no info on what you do. So now you should write all that yourself, okay?!
Alright, time to introduce myself. Writing to you to get acquainted is PRESTIGE's musician SLASH / Atomic Destruction Group (ADG) / PRESTIGE/. I hope you've heard of me and my music, but if not, you urgently need to get and check out the following releases done under the PRESTIGE label: Lemmings 128/PSG, INDY-4 128k/PSG, NEAVY SEALS-128/PSG, as well as our group's productions: boots/PSG, intros, demos & ETC.
A bit about myself: SLASH (Denis Viktorovich Podolsky, 12.09.77), the real leader of Atomic Destruction Group & all Ryazan hackers, the coolest music maker & writter on Amiga & Speccy. Currently in the army (since December 6, '95)—serving in Moscow in the Railway Troops, but that doesn't stop me from being active and working as before! In ADG, we have a ton of computers: one has a PENTAGON, another has a Profi 0m, the third an ATM TURBO 2, the fourth a Profi 2+, plus an Amiga 600 and an Amiga 1200 on top of that.
Oh, almost forgot to introduce my ADG:
1. SLASH — leader, music maker & writter, some coding (AMIGA / SPECCY)
2. Steve (Oleg Kaplunov) ex lider (while I'm in the army), main coder, gfx (SPECCY / AMIGA)
3. DEKART (Dima Korabelshchikov) — coder, gfx, skening & ETC (SPECCY / PC)
4. DAVE (Valera Finyaev) — coding
Entity Yurets, here is the information I'd like to get from you:
1) What is your group called, and what is your handle?
2) What is your attitude toward PRESTIGE?
3) What are your relations with the following guys: ISAEV, Andy-2, all L.O.S.W., FLASH inc., all IVANOVO, KSA, ENTIRE Group, IMP, RST#7 (by the way, Dimon was at my send-off party together with Isaev)?
4) What do you do on SPECCY or on Amiga?
5) Would you agree to enter correspondence with us (with me as the leader!, and with Steve as the ex-lider, so he can mail parcels etc.) and swap software releases?!
I expect the rest of the questions from you.
My address: 111396, Moscow-396-E, military unit 33149, to Podolsky D.V.
Steve's address: 390035, Ryazan, Beryozovaya st., 1B, apt. 136, to Oleg Yuryevich Kaplunov.
DAVE's phone: (0912) 72-82-40.
Send regards to all your friends, and to FLASH as well. With that, allow me to take my leave and stay healthy. Make sure to write back! Waiting.
