Born Dead Diploma, Scene Debates, and CC TAP Rules
Demiurge Ash sends Unbeliever a first-place diploma, praising the Born Dead magazine and urging him to publish it more often. He clarifies details about entering the Eddy work at the Forever party and laughs at an article in #z80 aiming to make peace between him and opponents like Arty and Diver. He also inquires about conflict with Goblin from XTM and criticizes Random's requirement to provide CC demo entries in TAP format due to memory issues.
Mecse Unbeliever,
I guess you recently received my parcel. And now catch your first place diploma. My congratulations. Born Dead really is the best scene publication on the Spectrum! So release it larger in size and more frequently ;)
With respect, Demiurge Ash
p.s. Is it okay that I exhibited Eddy, which you requested, at Forever? It seems you suggested doing so yourself.
p.s.s. Got a laugh out of your article in #z80. I don't know why you needed that, but if you're going to reconcile me with everyone who holds a grudge against me, you won't have time left for Born Dead ;) Now Arty and Diver are next in line — go ahead ;)
p.s.s.s. Maybe you can enlighten me. Why did some Goblin attack instead of Dwarf? Also, in the latest info Goblin isn't listed in XTM at all, is that right?
Bye!
p.s.s.s.s. Oh, and one more thing! Do you happen to be in touch with Random? Please explain to this fellow that his requirement to submit a demo to CC in two versions, one of which is TAP, is PERVERSION. People have neither the time to do it, nor enough base memory (which is scarce anyway). Besides, a BASIC loader eats up a lot of memory, plus saving all variables and the stack. It's immediately obvious that Random has never made demos, otherwise he wouldn't have reached such absurdity!
