We recently went to Vladimir to visit REMEDY
Paracels writes to Max about the graphic design commission he has accepted and asks for further details regarding the artwork. He mentions that he has prepared the covers for *Fatality*, talks about his work on the magazine *Trud i Chest* and points out editorial errors in the article about Spectrum. He shares scene news: BORN DEAD #7, a trip to Vladimir, meetings with Remedy, SAT, Snake2 and others, stories about X-Files posters, Ash’s affairs, and music and newspaper projects. He sends regards to familiar bands
Hi, Max!
It’s me, PARACELS / ETERNITY INDUSTRY.
I’m writing to you regarding the graphics. Your order has been accepted and will most likely be fulfilled. But to do that, I need to know exactly what was in the rest of the image. I’ve got the bit with the pregnant woman sorted, but what comes next? Is the rest of the screen black? I’m waiting for more details.
The two skins for FATALITY are ready; I’m sending them to you separately. I’m just not sure if FTL will actually need them. Or perhaps it’s already too late, as, as far as I know, a demo version of this game has already been released.
I’ve recently had some pieces published in ‘Trud i Chest’, and articles about SPECTRUM—or rather, not articles, but just the second time in my (as yet short) career at TiZh—so far this topic simply doesn’t interest me.
However, this article wasn’t without its mishaps. So, despite all my careful proofreading before going to press, three factual errors were also allowed to slip through in the final version (through the editorial team’s fault). It’s about the upcoming 17th BK2 and 31st PICT, as well as the lads from EXTREME. Well, I’m not holding a grudge against ‘TiZh’. The people there do a simply brilliant job, and I just LOVE the editor-in-chief ;) (she’s a woman, of course — the editor-in-chief).
We’ve been thinking of you a lot.
What else do you need, Max? They didn’t send me BORN DEAD #7, but I’d told Miha [something] to keep in mind, thinking there might be some horrors written about me in BD#7, but when VEL finally brings it, we’ll see that everything’s fine—
and it’s even written in a really COOL and FUN way. So what’s the reason for this clever move???
Max, I was in Vladimir recently and popped into their biggest department store, where, to my great delight, I found two long-awaited Korean posters of THE X-FILES on sale. However, my joy was short-lived...
No! Not because they were expensive—on the contrary, they were just 6.5 roubles... But I didn’t have those few kopecks, or rather, I had no money left at all after buying all sorts of soft drinks, ice cream and the like. So I hoped that next time I’d come back and buy them all, but I was wrong. Next time, they were simply gone. FUCK! :( I didn’t expect such a let-down. I’d love to look that scumbag in the eye who bought my posters before I could. :)))
Oh, by the way, we (SENAT, D-MAN and I) recently popped over to Vladimir to visit REMEDY. In the end, we visited SAT, SNAKE2, and SENAT even went to see EXPLODER. When SAT and I went to SNAKE’s, SENAT went to VAV’s. SAT reckoned they’d have some decent beer there too. :) I don’t know, SENAT looks like a decent bloke. ;) So, VAV will earn 200 bucks in a month, but he won’t get any beer. We brought SNAK my two repaired drives and were delighted that they’ll soon be bringing us a larger monitor! Hooray!
Someone bought 127K discs from ASH too; he paid me 15 rubles. Although, to be honest, our relationship with ASH
(or rather, mine) is a bit of a mystery at the moment. All we know is that he (ASH) is putting together a little tune by SPAWN (ex-STRYKER) for SAT (we found this out from SAT himself). Also, ASH is still planning to put out a magazine. Guess which platform? That’s right! On the BORN DEAD platform. As for the rest, I don’t know anything else about ASH yet.
D-MAN has already written to you about everything else. So the conversation is expanding.
Best wishes, PARACELS' EI.
Date: 27.05.99
P.S. The images for FATALITY are on all discs under the names ‘titanic1’ & ‘titanic2’.
P.P.S. BEST WISHES TO SAGE GROUP, STARS OF KELADAN, ALIEN FACTORY & SPEED CO.
