          About the dog

     I really want a dog
     Only mom and dad
     Together with grandparents
They don't want to know about it.
     They all tell me:
“After all, we have cats!” -
     I always look at them
     And I quietly whisper:
     "If the cat gets sick,
     Who will warm me then?
     Who can I play with?
And who will I take for a walk?"
     But they don't understand
     They just shrug their shoulders.
They tell me a lot of words
And the puppy looks out of dreams.

           In the meadows

     When you're having fun,
     Run to the meadows!
     Sing a song out loud
     And you will be friends.
     You're lying in the grass,
     Like white dogs
     But if you bark -
     Not far from a fight.
And if you have a grasshopper,
Suddenly it starts singing in your ear,
     Then you need this verse
     Read backwards.
