STEREO AMPLIFIER for TDA 2004 or TDA 2005 and TDA 1517

3M/MSD, September 1999

 Well, here we are again.
This time in the section -iron- I decided to present it to your judgment
amplifier circuit for TDA 2004 or TDA 2005.
Many will say - why the hell... I need it, I need the built-in power...
but an amplifier or a magician is quite enough.
But it’s not enough - I’ll say. Those sounds that they make
complete crap compared to the sound from a full stereo amplifier
literator like the one given below, and which, as a consequence,
minimality of the circuit, can be placed inside the case without any problems
computer (excluding speakers). Moreover, when listening
any music on it, you will very soon be convinced that all the music
edges of the SPECTRUM world have stereo amplifiers, since most
sound samples without it either sound somehow pathetic, or they don’t exist at all
I can't hear it.
Now let's move on directly to the scheme itself. On my own
the circuit is quite simple, but provides an awesome 10 watt stereo
reo sound. The second channel is designed similarly, but the leg numbers are indicated
nes inside the microcircuit (see diagram). Resistance in 1 ohm i
received by winding on low-resistance nichrome wire with
parallel connection (probably this resistance can be
increase). The power supply should be within 6-18V (12 is better than
5). The capacitor marked * isserves to stabilize the voltage
nia, so the larger its capacity, the better. Large capacity
at the output it provides highlighting of low frequencies.

TDA legs are counted in this order:

                         ┌───────────┐
                         │ O │

Here is a diagram for one channel, for the second connectionsimilarly, the contacts are indicated inside, in brackets.

Now about the volume control. Since the gain according to
voltage is huge, namely 50 dB per channel, then supply sound with
computer slot (25A,2SB-SOUND LEFT,RIGHT) is required
through resistance (so as not to tear your ears), approximately like this
diagram:

            25A(LEFT) ──▒▒▒──┐
                         1M ▒
                              ▒───>to the amplifier
                              ▒100K
                              ┴

By the way, a ground for variable resistance is MANDATORY!
take it from the amplifier board as close as possible to the microcircuit, and
the microcircuit itself can be placed on a radiator just in case, although
it does not heat up (the current consumption is only 80 mA at
Unut.=12V, and 60 mA at Unut.=5V).

One of the problems that may arise for owners of impulse
bad power supplies, it’s the extraneous noise they make
to the amplifier. The solution may be to increase the capacity *, or
installation of a stabilizer type m/s KREN8A at input 9 of the TDA leg.

                       ┌─────┐
                       │ O │
                       ├─────┤
                       │ROLL8│
                       │ A │
                       └┬─┬─┬┘
                        │ │ │
                 Input 12V ┴ Output 9Vstable

And here is another amplifier circuit for TDA 1517 (2 x 6 W.)
As you can see, it is simpler, but also less powerful.

Well, that's all. I think that in the near future from SPECT-
RUMists will enjoy high-quality 80 dB digital stereo sound, and
if you have any comments, questions or developments in
areas of hardware, coding, etc., then call. It depends on YOU to
holding the next issue.
