HOME!
We got home without incident, it was a little dry after yesterday...
All that remains is to have a hangover and draw conclusions... But what the hell?
conclusions, sleep for 2 days...
Thoughts out loud:
1. There were a lot of people, it was interesting to talk, get to know each other,
and just to get drunk...
2. Finally made it to the capital...
3. I never even imagined such an “organization.”
4. If this event is held next year,
I will definitely come again (if I’m with someone and if I don’t drink
grandmas....)
5. As I wrote above, I fully confirmed to myself that the Belarusian
the Spectrum scene is dead... And for pisishniks, please don’t do much
delude yourself, there is no PC scene at all...
6. I’m glad I didn’t present my work, a solid one would have been waiting for me
bummer...
P.S. I would like to thank Mikrukha-Maclay once again for
provided a roof over your head.

Some nice features:
- Distribution of pens was organized (for filling out vote lists)
for those who didn't have them. And there were many of them (or this
there turned out to be a lot of freebie lovers :)). A very thoughtful move.
- The organizers took care of the accommodation of out-of-town guests. In
during the party they announced this into the microphone and provided a list
hotels, during hidden parties we negotiated with local
aborigines (that is, Minsk residents) and themselves took someguests.
- When distributing vote lists on the second day, everyone was taken into account
distributed sheet
- the person who distributed them (Shaman/Psycho) marked with a bird
himself with each sheet distributed, apparently so that later he would not suddenly
There were fakes or extra sheets. Basically this is
unlikely, but still nice that they thought of it.
- a large sheet of paper for autographs was hung on the front door.
Also, in my opinion, a reasonable move, because many had great
desire to leave a memory of yourself. The sheet was very painted
quickly, and on the second day they drew on the same sheet, but with
reverse side.
- The vote counting was carried out specially written for
this program, which greatly increased the processing speed
vote-lists. Well, there is a big difference between the results,
announced at the party, and the final results are probably
can be explained by the fact that not everyone was counted at the party
sheets, which, however, was stipulated in advance in the rules.
- I really liked the idea of holding the “Miss” competition
Millennium". Judging by the photographs of the participants, some
photographed with a hidden camera, that is, without warning.
It was also fun when, when showing the photographs, they announced
out of habit, “Work No. ..”, although later they got better and
they said “Girl no...” :)
Now about the unpleasant features:
- There was no division of AY music works into copy/nocopy. How
As a result, copy works came first. Oh, how
known in copy andnocopy different evaluation criteria.
- There was no real Spectrum at the party. Some works
were not registered for the simple reason of unreadability
with a pussy of three-board floppy disks. Emulators know that disks
formatted on real Spectrums by TR-DOS command
"Format" is not readable on the computer. But spektrumists are realists
they didn’t know about it, and by and large, these problems are theirs
shouldn't worry.
It’s a pity, because of the organizers we didn’t see at least two
demos and didn’t hear any music. I can imagine what
words the authors of these works called organizers :))) By
In relation to spektrumists this is simply disgusting. Also on
the emulator was not set to 50 Hz scan, and in
demo -=AOS=- there was a very noticeable flickering of the screen on
some effects. On real machines this glitch does not exist.
-- AY music, like last year, was played through BEST VIEW.
True, this year the organizers decided not to give
image of the player on the screen, but it was very expensive
simple - visitors simply approached the car, which
everything was spinning and looking at the names of the authors of the works. And when you know
author, then this is already a biased attitude.
- Room. In my opinion, it was chosen very poorly. cramped
a small disco hall for 100 people. Very
low ceilings, in the middle there is a large column covering
review. I liked last year’s version (BSU premises)
much more. The only advantage of the Tunnel club is that it is more or less
decent acoustics. - Well, like everywhere else, there is confusion in
organizer rows when accepting work. There were several works
simply “lost” (for example, 512b intro on ZX from Fenomen,
one more picture).
One of the works that I sent at the request of a friend,
also found itself lost in the wilds of the propeller. The organizers assured
that everything is ok, but when we decided to make sure of this, it turned out
that it was missing... I had to undo the organizer screw, and it
Still found and registered. Moral - always check
availability of pre-sent works. The same problems were observed
and on both CCs. And finally, I want to express my gratitude
for those who have the patience to read all of this. We are waiting for everyone at
Millennium 1902!
